'...Encourage and help each other...' 1 Thessalonians 5:11 CEV
We all spend far too much time comparing ourselves to others, wishing we had their looks/skills/friends/family/life (circle as appropriate). And we all need to stop, right now. Honestly, it's damaging. That person whose physique you wish was yours? That person whose job or grades you wish you had? Even that person whose faith you wish you could muster? Yeah, they probably don't see themselves that rosily. In fact, they wish they had your beautiful smile (they think that wonky tooth is cute). You're you, and you're never going to be anyone else. It's only going to discourage you wishing that you could be.
'...God created man in His own image...' (Genesis 1:27 NIV) You've heard it a million times, but really think about it. God made you to be a reflection of Him, and He's incredible. (You know what that means. Yup, you = incredible. Ok, maybe not at this very moment and to the same extent but yes, a reflection of His amazing character.
The more time you spend trying to take on His ways, the more you'll become the person He made you to be. The nearer you draw to God, the more like Him you'll become. And, being 'made in His image', the more like Him we are, the more truly we are our true selves.
Get close to God and you'll start mirroring his qualities in your own life. The Bible says, "Love... protects... trusts... hopes... perseveres." (1 Corinthians 13:4;7 NIV) Instead of making comparisons, ask God to help you see yourself and others with the sort of love He does.
