Helping ordinary Aussies is a vital part of what UCB Australia does in Connecting Faith to Life. If you’d love to pass on the blessing that God has given you through UCB, consider the following possibilities:
- Pray for us. Join our Prayer Watchmen team by praying for our special needs on a daily basis.
- Organise a prayer team in your church. Each day dozens of prayer requests are received by the PrayForMe network. With increasing volume and the need for ongoing support, your church could make a huge difference to the lives of individuals across the nation.
- Become a Vision advocate. Promote the Vision Radio Network in your church or community by distributing promotional material to key individuals in your hometown.
- Promote The Word for Today or word4U2day. Place a stand-up display of 24 complimentary introductory copies of our devotionals at a prominent position in your church or business.
- Help out at a Visionathon. If you live in Brisbane and have a good clear telephone voice and legible handwriting, you can volunteer your time to record donor’s pledges during one of our Visionathon.
- Help with a mailing. Every quarter we send out over 100 000 complimentary copies of The Word for Today and word4U2day. We mail out UCB Today regularly to our supporters. If you live in Brisbane and can help with Simple mail procedures, we love to have you join us for work and fellowship!
- Your talent! Perhaps you have a talent that you think could help support UCB. Give us a call to discuss the possibilities. We already have a number of wonderful volunteers who help with the maintenance of installation sites or who have helped install transmission equipment. If you have skills in this area—or others—we’d love to hear from you.
